How to set proxy:

git config --global http.proxy http://user:password@proxyname:port

How to unset proxy:

git config --global --unset http.proxy

Stop the 'fatal: unable to access 'https:github.com/[whatever]/' : SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate::

git config -- global http.sslVerify false
